• LIC Vocational Rehabilitation Centre - CSI Balar Gnana Illam under Salem Division
LIC Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for the mentally challenged children provides training in activities of daily living skills. They give vocational training to 136 students for envelops making, wire bag making multipurpose mat making, chalk making, Bakery products, etc.
This infrastructure development provided by LIC will enable the school to contribute not only for learning of the group of special children in a conducive environment but also help the children in their journey to become independent through development of mental faculties.
• LIC Residential Resource and Vocational Training Centre - National Association for the Blind (NAB) under Haldwani Division
LIC Residential Resource and Vocational Training Centre is for providing improved and regular training to 47 (5 yrs to 14 years visually impaired student) and 112 registered adult blind. This is the first and only institute in Kumaon Region working for the welfare of the blind.
• LIC Common Room for Multicultural activity- Dasghara High School, Hooghly under Howrah Division
This School is a renowned high school and has a historical heritage of spreading education in rural Bengal since 1858. The school caters to a large section of underprivileged students i.e. around 1500 students will be benefited for using LIC Common Room for Multicultural activity.
• LIC Vocational Training and Academic Centre - Sree Ram Krishna Prema Bihar, Khorip under Howrah Division
This is located in Kolkata, and is basically on a social reformative mission having around 212 students. LIC Vocational Training and Academic Centre will provide in upbringing of orphan children, helping the poor, destitute and distressed local poor.
• LIC Vocational Training Centre - DISHA – A Resource Centre for the Disabled under Jaipur Division I
It is a Resource Centre for the Disabled and winner of State award for outstanding services in the field of Rehabilitation. H.H.Rajmata Gayatri Devi is the Chairperson on the Board of this organization. There are 130 children and young adults who are getting training in various activities. The LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation has upgraded existing Vocational Training Centre by providing the required equipments for rehabilitation and training of the special children and young adults who suffer from mental, neurological and physical challenges.
• LIC Vocational Training Hostel - Rural Health & Welfare Programme, Sakwar under Thane Division
LIC Vocational Training Hostel is situated in a very rural & tribal area 20 Km away from Virar. Hundred students will be benefited by this scheme every year. Under this scheme 25 students each, will be admitted for tailoring, carpentry, electrical wiring, motor mechanism traits. The training and boarding will be free to all the students. The Math also provides tool kit to each of these students at the time of completion of training so that they can earn their livelihood immediately.
• LIC Library - Navjyot India Foundation under Delhi DO-III
This is under the aegis of Navjyoti India Foundation, which is being run under the tutelage of Dr. Kiran Bedi, winner of the Ramon Magsasay Award and a very eminent personality in the realm of social welfare. The objective of LIC Library is creating an atmosphere for education and learning for the rural children which will provide them with books to help them in inculcating a habit of learning and also enhance creativity, expressions, confidence and responsibility amongst them. Around 100 students from government schools will be benefited each year.
• LIC Golden Jubilee Hall - National Association for the welfare of the Physically Handicapped under Nagpur
LIC Golden Jubilee Hall is provided for around 50 blind handicapped, deaf & dumb children/ students of poor families. Besides this, imparting training, education with hostel facilities are also provided by the organization.
• LIC Learning Centre - Malenadu Education and Rural Development Society, Sirsi under Dharwad Division
LIC Learning Centre will provide education to around 98 under privileged children and to promote all round development of the children of rural areas.
• LIC Home - Akshaya’s Helping in H.E.L.P. Trust under Madurai Division
They are feeding mentally ill/very old people left uncared on the roads of Madurai since June 2002. LIC is providing home and includes safe/centralized place for the uncared, left on the roads, to provide an environment for rehabilitation and to provide peaceful place for the abandoned elderly people in their last days. It is a new initiative to provide free infrastructure in a remote village to neglected people in distress, aggravated by mental illness and old age.
• Scheme Of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship for students belonging to the economically weaker families for pursuing higher studies
